INTRODUCTION
The Architects Association of Macau (AAM) hereby announces to all members the hosting of the MACAU ARCHITECTURE AWARDS 2022 (AWARDS). The AWARDS aim to raise the standard of the built environment in Macau and to encourage and recognize exemplary work done by ARCHITECTS working in Macau. AAM re-establishes the AWARDS in order to solidify the institutional recognition of quality projects and to enhance the image of architecture inside the society. The awards will be given to projects which paying high level of attention to the socio-cultural issue, and create a bridge between architecture, nature and urban context.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The aim of the MACAU ARCHITECTURE AWARDS is to acknowledge exemplary architectural work and in so doing encourage the sustenance of the Macau’s Architectural culture, the development and improvement of the Macau built environment and enhancement of the awareness of the role of ARCHITECTS in the social and cultural life of Macau.The AWARDS also intends to demonstrate that good architecture is a major component of the positive influence on the human environment, and that physical development in Macau needs not to be in disharmony with the cultural values, regional identity or the natural environment of Macau.

澳門建築師協會（AAM）特此向全體會員宣佈舉辦2022年澳門建築大獎。本“大獎”旨在提高澳門建築環境建設水平，並鼓勵和表彰澳門建築師的努力及其傑出的建築作品。澳門建築師協會持續舉辦這個建築大獎是為了鞏固本會對優質建築設計的肯定，並提升建築設計專業在社會中的形象。該獎項將頒發給對社會和文化高度重視，並與周邊景觀、自然環境及城市脈絡取得相互聯系的建築作品。
宗旨和目標
澳門建築大獎旨在表彰傑出的建築作品，以此鼓勵澳門建築文化的傳承，發展和改善澳門城市建設，以及提高大眾對建築師在社會和文化中所擔當之角色的認識。2022澳門建築大獎還旨在表明良好的建築是對人類環境產生積極影響的重要組成部分，澳門的建設發展不必與其文化價值、區域形象或自然環境不和諧 。
